Will Computers Help Us Talk to Animals?
Scientists use computers and smart tools to study animal sounds. They think new phone apps can help us understand pets. This technology can make talking to animals possible.
Most animals cannot speak human languages. Monkeys are smart, but they cannot make human words. Parrots can copy human speech, and whales make complex sounds.
Scientists also study animal genes and body movements. For example, dogs show their needs by holding a lead. Animals already tell us many things with their actions.
